About Us...

The "Sacramento Songwriters Group" is the official chapter
of NSAI for the Sacramento Region. NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) is the largest "not-for-profit" songwriting organization in the world, with over 5,000 members.

Our goal here in Sacramento, just as with the National Organization, is to promote songwriting. Through education, networking, and through NSAI's efforts in changing the laws that help protect the rights of songwriter's worldwide.

It's our goal to unify the Sacramento area music community. We frequently bring in guest speakers and instructors. We usually hold a meeting once a month, though this will vary depending upon seasonal events and holidays. Meeting may also be rescheduled depending upon the schedule of recent guests and events. For the most current schedule of events contact Kurt Ozdaglar to get on the group E-mail list. Special events are notified by monthly E-mail notices; again contact Kurt to be on this list.
