Ed has been writing songs since he picked up his first guitar at the tender age of twelve… He actually went to college in hopes of taking classes on lyric and contemporary songwriting, but in his small town of Napa, CA no such course were offered.

  Now, with the explosion of the internet, Ed found songwriting courses being offered by Danny and Sarah Light of SongU.com, which led to his discovery of NSAI, and many more helpful resources.

  Because of these affiliations, Ed has sat down with some of the best song evaluators in the country, such as Jason Blume and Jai Josefs, and has traveled to Nashville and met with some of his songwriting heroes.

  Ed’s songwriting abilities have vastly improved over the last few years because of his association with these marvelous people, and he gets closer everyday to having his songs cut by some hungry artist!
