News - July 2010

Hey everyone

Our Nsai meeting this month will be Sunday July, 18th from 1pm to 4pm at the art gallery next to the Coffee Garden. The address of the Coffee Garden is 2904 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento Ca 95818. The gallery is on the corner of the street. You will see a NSAI Meeting Sign on the door.

This Month I would like to continue our {Ripping of Chart topping songs.} To stay "current" we need to exam-in what songs are getting cut, by what artist, an though we are are familiar with the "Nashville Rules" their are some artist out there that are bending them.

I would also like to continue our critique session. Next month we will be having or quarterly "Bob Regan critique contest" Now is the time to tweak that song you want to enter into the contest. On a side note, so we give everyone a chance, if you have won this contest once, you are not eligible to enter until next year, so Sara and Gwen will have to wait, but CONGRATS for winning the first one ladies!

The last thing I would like to point out is that Nashville is starting to get back on it's feet after the flood. I am still working on a benefit open mic we can pull off, but that will probably be in September. Please keep all the flood victims in your prayers, they still need it.
