News - August 2009

Hey Everyone!

Our NSAI-Sacramento meeting this month will be Sunday August 9th from 1pm to 4pm at the art gallery next to the Coffee Garden. The address of the Coffee Garden is 2904 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento Ca 95818. The gallery is on the corner of the street. You will see a NSAI Meeting Sign on the door.

This month I would like to go back an rip apart a few chart topping songs. We all need to stay current and I think this exercise helps all of us.

We will also have our critique session so bring in your songs you need help on. Please remember to bring at least 10 copies of the lyrics or one on a transparent sheet.

NSAI has been having a membership drive, so if you know someone who wants to join,or you need to renew yours please do it soon. Part of the fee will get kicked back in to our fund, which helps us bring out people from Nashville. Please notify Gabrielle or myself so we can turn in your membership and get our chapter the credit.

And last congrats to Sara Gibson. She won the local Colgate Country Showdown contest, and is moving on to compete in Reno on Aug 28th. You can check out her winning performance at :
