I was born & raised in the Hills of West Virginia and I write music some for that audience, but I am sophisticated enough to write for modern Christian Country Music Artists and bands.

I was a 50’s “Rocker”, but I also sing Popular Music, Rhythm & Blues, Show Tunes, and Country, from that decade as well as from the 20’s through the 60’s, although not professionally.

Professional Background - Played top-40 Country, as well as 50’s Rock Music, in my own bands and others, in the local scene around the San Francisco South Bay Area for over 20 years (1969-1991). I was primarily a singer and bandleader and I had the best weekend band in the San Jose area in those days. My band, God’s Country, worked three nights a week for over six years at Tippers Lounge, on Calabasas Blvd. in Santa Clara, CA.

Today, I am primarily a songwriter, although I still perform and enjoy it very much. Much of my songwriting is still amateurish, at this point, but some of it is quite good and deserves to be heard.

I am determined to write the truth. Not my truth, but God’s truth. I believe truth is not relative, but fixed at one time, for all time.

I have written a few secular songs, and I’m not opposed to writing spiritually responsible secular music, but 90% of my work is Christian Country Music.
